Cruz, Dimla to be Honored with the 2020 Gawad Tsanselor sa Natatanging Mag-aaral Award

Martin Alexander F. Cruz and Rafael John R. Dimla are among the three recipients of the 2020 Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral. This is the highest, most prestigious University award given to students who have attained a high level of academic accomplishment, demonstrated good leadership and exemplified ‘honor and excellence in the service of the people’. The awarding will be held on 28 February 2020 at the University Theater.

Cruz, a 5th year BS Business Administration and Accountancy student, is currently summa cum laude standing. He previously served on the Executive Board of various organizations, namely as the President and Coordinator General of RVC-VSB, Chief Operations Officer of UPJFA, and Internals Vice President of Yusung Honor Society where he was a scholar. He was also awarded champion in numerous competitions, such as the Intercollegiate Finance Competition (FINEX), L’Oreal Brandstorm and the Deloitte Tax Challenge.

Dimla, a 4th year BS Business Administration student, is currently magna cum laude standing. He is the Chairperson of the BA Student Council for AY 2019-2020, previously serving as BAC’s councilor, two-time batch representative, and team leader across different projects. He also served as a part-time teacher in Ateneo de Manila. He has won numerous competitions such as the P&G CEO Challenge and the Boston Consulting Group Case Competition. He was also a scholar of the Yusung Honor Society.
