Espenilla, Quimbo to be Honored in 2015 UP Grand Alumni Homecoming

Nestor A. Espenilla Jr. (BSBE 1980 mcl, MBA 1982; DAA 2007) and Vicente S. Quimbo Jr. (BSBA 1969; DAA 2005) are recipients of the UP Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumnus Awards during the UP Grand Alumni Homecoming to be held at Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman campus on Saturday, 20 June 2015. Both Espenilla and Quimbo previously received the Virata School of Business’ Distinguished Alumnus Awards (DAA).

Espenilla (left photo) is a Deputy Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. He is being awarded for good governance in banking and finance. Quimbo (right photo) is the founder and President of Bel Mondo Italia, maker of Novellino wines. He is being recognized for entrepreneurship and employment creation. (Vol. 2015 No. 09)
