SGV and UP-VSB Continue Partnership in the Student Excellence Awards in Accounting Program

Ms. Eleanore A. Layug, SGV Assurance Partner, and Dr. Daniel Vincent H. Borja, Chair of the UP-VSB Department of Accounting and Finance, awarded certificates and cash awards to 10 outstanding graduating BSBAA students at the UP Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business.

These 10 awardees were selected from 71 graduating BSBAA students after undergoing rigorous exams and mock CPA Board Examination. The top SGV and UP-VSB Student Excellence Award in Accounting was given to Joh Lester H. Aratea. Completing the top 10 were: Edison Jeffrey C. Chow (2nd), Aileen Jennifer C. Cu (3rd), Erica Camille U. Lau (4th), Ivy D. San Juan (5th), Christine Joy C. Jacinto (6th), Carl Louise G. Chan (7th), Liezl Rose G. Lomibao (8th), Kathrynne Rose A. Pizarro (9th) and Bryan Neil G. Domingo (10th).

The partnership between SGV and UP-VSB in the Student Excellence Awards in Accounting Program is now on its fifth year. Mr. Brad Neiel T. Dela Cruz and Mr. Mikhael Anjelu B. Magana coordinated the Awards Program. College Secretary Prof. Manuel C. Manuel III and Dr. Arthur S. Cayanan also joined in the awarding program.
