Toribio Honored with Natatanging Mag-aaral Award in 2017 Gawad Tsanselor

Jose Rafael L. Toribio, a fourth year BS Business Administration student, was one of the four recipients of the 2017 Gawad Tsanselor para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral (Outstanding Student Award) held on 27 April 2017 at the UP Diliman Institute of Biology Auditorium. Toribio has a curriculum weighted average grade (CWAG) of 1.33 (magna cum laude standing) as of the 1st semester AY 2016-17. He is an outstanding student leader. On his freshman year, he served as the Virata School of Business representative to the University Freshmen Council. This schoolyear, he is one of the 12 councilors in the UP Diliman University Student Council. In the Student Council elections held on 6 April 2017, he was elected as Vice-Chairman after he obtained 6,272 of 11,951 votes cast. Toribio has also participated in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, debate, marketing, start up business ideation, among others.
